Job Description


Our client, a well-established leader in the manufacturing industry, specializes in delivering comprehensive services, including design, prototype development, full-scale production, and product sustainment. They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team and contribute to innovative projects while driving continuous improvement across operations.

Location: St.Marys, Ohio
Compensation: $70, 000 - $80, 000 annually

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-5 years of experience in manufacturing or project management.
  • Knowledge of blueprints, technical specifications, and manufacturing practices.
  • Strong proficiency in applying mathematical concepts, including probability, statistical inference, geometry (plane and solid), trigonometry, and practical applications of fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;3D modeling skills are a plus.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma, CNC machining, and automation (preferred).
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
  • Leading equipment kickoffs and managing installation timelines.
  • Coordinating tooling studies, process improvements, and manufacturing layouts.
  • Overseeing internal machine shop operations and ensuring adherence to timelines.
  • Designing and implementing tooling, fixtures, and quick-changeover processes.
  • Maintaining preventive maintenance programs and plant layouts.
  • Participating in cost-saving initiatives and root cause analyses.
  • Developing and training personnel on work/setup instructions.
