Plater- Process Technician
Job Description
We are seeking Process Technicians to support metal plating operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating equipment, monitoring quality standards, and supporting daily production activities while following established safety and process procedures.
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Full-Time;Direct Hire
Shift Options:
•1st Shift: 5: 00 AM –3: 00 PM
•2nd Shift: 3: 00 PM –11: 00 PM
Compensation: Up to $20/hour + shift premium available for 2nd shift
Required Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or industrial experience required
- Ability to work either 1st shift (5: 00 AM –3: 00 PM) or 2nd shift (3: 00 PM –11: 00 PM)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
- Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment and monitor processes to maintain efficiency and quality standards
- Perform inspections and identify issues impacting product quality or production flow
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following company safety procedures
- Complete required process documentation and communicate concerns to supervisors as needed
- Support team production goals and assist with additional duties as assigned
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to electroplating, metal finishing, or chemical processing environments
- Experience operating manufacturing equipment or machinery
- Familiarity with handling industrial chemicals and safety procedures
