Electrician- Industrial
Job Description
We’re seeking a skilled Electrician with strong troubleshooting and installation experience to join a precision manufacturing environment. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and controls that keep production running safely and efficiently.
Pay: $36.96/hour
Schedule: Rotating 12-hour overnight shifts (7: 00pm–7: 00am)
Type: Full-time | Direct Hire | Union Position
What You Bring
- Active Electrician’s License (required)
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance or industrial settings
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, control systems, and instrumentation
- Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with the broader team
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
- Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 14001 practices preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair wiring, electrical panels, lighting systems, and control circuits
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and related electrical components for safety and compliance
- Diagnose and correct electrical issues using testing instruments and standard troubleshooting methods
- Calibrate and service process control and instrumentation systems
- Document work performed and communicate effectively with maintenance and engineering teams
- Follow all state and local building codes and safety procedures, including National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and handle tools or materials
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
