Position Description:
A Material Control Supervisor is responsible for Warehouse Operations and Maintenance functions at the warehouse facility including but not limited to: building safety, UAW relationships, inbound / outbound processing, inventory accuracy, overtime percentage, absenteeism, vacation scheduling, and ISO 14001 environmental compliance. - Supervise and direct UAW hourly employees - Effectively assign initiatives to continuously improve performance - Effectively communicate and maintain a productive working relationship with the hourly team, salaried team, and union representatives. - Assign daily work to employees to meet objectives in safety, quality, and productivity. - Assure flow of inbound/outbound material is managed according to Partners In Customer Satisfaction (PICS) Process - Assure continuous improvement through direction of the PICS process and the continuous Improvement Process (CIP) - Complete daily report of time for employees and accurately pay employees.
Experience Required:
3-4 years in a supervisory role.
Education Required:
High School Diploma
Education Preferred:
Bachelor' s degree in Business or Engineering

Matt started with Contract Professionals, Inc. in November 2014. He began as a Technical Recruiter assigned to the automotive team. He worked hand in hand with account managers, to spearhead specific projects with CPI's clients. Driven to succeed, Matt achieved his goal(s) within the first year. He continued working on accounts and he learned the leadership process throughout his 4-year career at CPI.

Today, Matt is proud to the Recruiting Team Leader of the Automotive Branch. His primary role is to oversee the automotive recruiters as they work to fulfill client expectations.

Matt was awarded a Bachelor of Art in Environmental Studies at University of Michigan. Matt also received an Associate degree in Automotive Mechanics from a local community college.

Matt is thriving as a new Account Manager at CPI, and he looks forward to the challenges that await him in the workforce solutions industry.
