Location: St. Marys, OH

Salary: $90, 000 - $120, 000

Hours: Flexible - 7am-4pm / 8am-5pm

About the Role:

As a Materials Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company’s inventory and supply needs. You will manage vendor relationships, assess supply requirements, and coordinate material and delivery schedules. Your responsibilities will include training staff, reviewing orders, and tracking inventory flow through the company’s supply chain.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • 5-7 years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong supervisory experience (preferably 2 years).
  • Excellent understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct production and inventory control, shipping and receiving, and materials storage.
  • Oversee production planning and scheduling based on sales forecasts.
  • Maintain inventory levels to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Ensure accuracy of the perpetual inventory system.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments.
  • Track, measure, and analyze inventory.
  • Train and oversee new staff.
  • Determine and track KPIs.
  • Provide tracking reports for upper management.
  • Adhere to laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Assign and manage the activities of materials staff.
