Job Description
Join a team shaping the future of combat vehicle design. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the next generation of military vehicles, including advancements in tracked and wheeled systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop combat vehicle chassis structures and components from concept to prototype testing.
- Coordinate performance analysis for structural integrity and response.
- Manage the design of structural subsystems such as ramps, hatches, and access panels.
- Prepare and present progress updates to leadership and clients.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in vehicle chassis system design or related areas.
- Knowledge of vehicle structure design and structural analysis.
- Proficiency with CAD systems and strong communication skills.
- Ability to meet security clearance requirements.
Preferred:
- Experience designing tracked combat vehicle structures, including survivability and manufacturability.
- Familiarity with model-based systems engineering.
Additional Information
- Office-based role with occasional travel, including overseas assignments.
- Involves interaction with prototype assembly teams and system testing activities.
This assignment is a US Government Contract which requires all applicants to be US Citizens.
