PLC Programmer

- A proven ability to work well within a team-based work environment, prioritizing plans of action to accomplish objectives
- A completed college or university program in Electrical Engineering/Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Robotic Studies or another similar field of study
- Experience or interest in designing, installing, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting pneumatic, mechanical and electronic automated equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally to customer locations
- Problem-solve with experienced mechanical and controls engineering, and skilled trades teams throughout the programming, tryout, and installation phases of a project
- Perform PLC logic and programming duties at our facilities during the build and debug stage and at customer facilities during installation and launch phases
- Introduce programming improvements in controls and logic systems that are consistent with customer changes or manufacturing requirements
- Debug, tryout, and verify I/O signals and interference zones in the system, and document controls logic changes with our engineering team
- Lead training of PLC end-users at customer locations, providing and teaching problem-solving skills
