Product Engineer Body
• Project/ Program Management position acting as Engineering Interface between Program Team and the Functional Applications team • Support Functional Team through engineering gateways and launch phases from pre-program through launch • PMT Single point of contact for Program, finance, Quality, Attribute, and Manufacturing. • Communicate upcoming deliverables to the specific functional team and execute operating system to ensure the work gets done on time, with quality. • Ensure robust functional systems sign-off for milestones • Drive for timely and efficient issue identification, communication, tracking, and resolution via Ford management systems. • Keep Functional Management informed in timely fashion, and escalate issues as required. • Manages functional content alignment with program objectives • Ensures Engineering Design Reviews and associated work streams are consistent with Program timing • Support milestone reviews and ensures Engineering delivery • Chair weekly meeting with Functional team to manage program business within the function.
Catia v5 knowledge preferred.
Excellent communication, team building, and leadership skill
• 5+ years of experience with Product Development Process and Launch Quality Operating System processes • Outstanding organizational skills with proper follow-up to accomplish multiple objectives in timely fashion • Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work well with others as part of a cross-functional team • Outstanding communication skills (open, clear, and inclusive) • Self-directed with strong technical capability and problem solving skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for issue identification, tracking, and presentation
Manufacturing experience preferred within Interior or Electrical commodities.
• Bachelor' s degree in Engineering required
