Product Engineer CAE
Position Duties: " Develop new CAE methods for body interior component and system analysis " Lead advanced projects which will benefit component or system-level design and / or CAE methodologies " Provide strategies and requirements for improvements to advanced simulation and validation techniques " Plan and execute CAE vs Physical Testing correlation study. The engineer will interact with the design and test engineers " Deliver design solutions which are robust and reliable utilizing analytical tools, optimization and statistical methods " Develop and evaluate architecture design concepts for early vehicle development " Lead fast resolution of program application CAE issues. Work with cross-functional teams (Application CAE, Design & Release, Validation teams) to determine root cause, develop countermeasures, and provide technical support " Effectively communicate his/her findings to internal/external customers
Experience in using optimization software Opti-Structure and mechanism analysis software MSC-Adams or equivalents are desired
Minimum 4 years of experience in Crash Safety CAE analysis
" Experience with development of CAE CETPs or tools " Work experience on airbag modeling and deployment analysis " Work experience on CAE vs Physical testing correlation " Work Experience on NVH, Durability, Crash Safety and Mechanism CAE analysis " Demonstrated experience in handling multiple tasks smoothly with a high accountability level and minimum supervision " Demonstrated tactful leadership in problem solving and root cause analysis. " Exceptional work ethic and integrity, ability to multi task and make decisions with limited supervision " Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is important * Strong written and interpersonal communications skills.
MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering
Matt started with Contract Professionals, Inc. in November 2014. He began as a Technical Recruiter assigned to the automotive team. He worked hand in hand with account managers, to spearhead specific projects with CPI's clients. Driven to succeed, Matt achieved his goal(s) within the first year. He continued working on accounts and he learned the leadership process throughout his 4-year career at CPI.
When the opportunity presented itself, he was promoted to Account Manager of the automotive division. He navigates the challenges in this new role by utilizing the senior staff in the office.
Matt was awarded a Bachelor of Art in Environmental Studies at University of Michigan. Matt also received an Associate degree in Automotive Mechanics from a local community college.
Matt is thriving as a new Account Manager at CPI, and he looks forward to the challenges that await him in the workforce solutions industry.
