Production Lead - 2nd shift
Job Description
- 2nd Shift: 3: 00pm-11: 00pm
- $20.00–$25.00/hour, based on experience
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Previous lead, trainer, or team leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of production processes and workflow management
- Ability to train, coach, and support team members
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math skills
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Assist the Production Manager with daily production operations
- Monitor and coordinate workflow to support production goals
- Train and guide employees on procedures, quality standards, and best practices
- Support employee onboarding and ongoing development
- Help maximize labor efficiency and productivity
- Communicate production expectations, processes, and company policies to team members
- Assist with employee performance evaluations and coaching efforts
- Promote compliance with quality and environmental management systems
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Manufacturing environment with periods of heat and humidity
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and twisting throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds as needed
- Close-toed shoes required in production areas
