Job Description

Our client is seeking a Production Lead to support daily operations within a metal finishing and inspection environment. This hands-on role is responsible for coordinating workflow, supporting production employees, maintaining quality standards, and helping ensure products move efficiently through the manufacturing process. Shift & Compensation
  • 2nd Shift: 3: 00pm-11: 00pm
  • $20.00–$25.00/hour, based on experience
Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Previous lead, trainer, or team leadership experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of production processes and workflow management
  • Ability to train, coach, and support team members
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic math skills
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Production Manager with daily production operations
  • Monitor and coordinate workflow to support production goals
  • Train and guide employees on procedures, quality standards, and best practices
  • Support employee onboarding and ongoing development
  • Help maximize labor efficiency and productivity
  • Communicate production expectations, processes, and company policies to team members
  • Assist with employee performance evaluations and coaching efforts
  • Promote compliance with quality and environmental management systems
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Manufacturing environment with periods of heat and humidity
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and twisting throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds as needed
  • Close-toed shoes required in production areas
