Project Coordinator –Design Services (Engineering)
Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Pay: $41–$46/hour
Work Type: Onsite


Overview:
Seeking a Project Coordinator to support engineering design services by managing the lifecycle of models, drawings, and technical data packages (TDPs) within Teamcenter PLM. This role works closely with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to maintain configuration control and drawing release status.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage lifecycle of models and drawings (creation, review, approval, release)
  • Maintain accurate data and accessibility within Teamcenter PLM
  • Coordinate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams
  • Monitor and report project status to stakeholders
  • Ensure drawings meet quality and regulatory standards
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to design documentation
  • Provide user support and training on Teamcenter processes
  • Update drafting standards and Technical Data Package (TDP) requirements
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, or related field
  • 5+ years of project coordination experience in engineering/manufacturing environments
  • Experience with PLM software (Teamcenter preferred)
  • Strong organizational and documentation control skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments


Preferred:
  • Experience with Creo or NX CAD tools
  • Prior experience supporting ground combat or military vehicle programs
  • Background in configuration management or engineering change processes
