Project Manager –Manufacturing & Engineering
Location: Greater Cleveland, OH
Full-Time | Onsite
Compensation: $90, 000+
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in manufacturing, engineering, and process improvement? A growing company in the electronic interconnect sector is looking for a skilled professional to lead high-impact projects from concept to implementation.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee projects involving design, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality improvements.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication.
- Develop and track project plans, action items, and key performance metrics.
- Lead meetings, including daily huddles and process improvement events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Sales and Engineering on new product introduction and production projects.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and cost controls.
Must-Have Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- PMP Certification.
- Proven success leading Lean Six Sigma initiatives, including Kaizen Events, Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, and metric/dashboard reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Project, MS Office, and SolidWorks.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation abilities.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- 4+ years in program/project management within sales, operations, or new product introduction.
- 4+ years in production, quality, process engineering, or product management.
- 4+ years of experience in Mechanical or Electrical product/design management.
- Hands-on involvement in all phases of design, testing, and operations in electronics manufacturing.
- Familiarity with Visio, Tableau, Power BI, or Salesforce is a plus.
- Experience providing technical and analytical design guidance in stamping, molding, tooling, and assembly for connector products is a plus.
