Project Manager
Location: Temple, TX
Employment Type: Contractual Full-Time
Pay Range: $52/hr.
About the Role
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to support a high-impact defense program focused on vehicle and hardware delivery. In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet technical performance goals. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position where your leadership directly contributes to mission success.
Key Responsibilities ·Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and finance to meet program objectives
·Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time and cost-effective execution
·Oversee vehicle and hardware flow to support contract delivery timelines
·Identify risks and opportunities, and implement mitigation and improvement plans
·Present project updates and proposals to internal leadership and external stakeholders
·Serve as the primary point of contact between the company, customers, and suppliers
·Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
·Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and performance analysis
Required Qualifications ·Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of project management experience
·Strong ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
·Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
·Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
·Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Preferred Qualifications ·Project Management certification (PMP, PgMP, or equivalent)
·Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
·Experience working with cross-functional or matrixed teams
