Quality Engineer –Direct Hire
Location: Dexter, MI
Salary: $80, 000 –$100, 000
Schedule: Monday –Friday, 7: 00 a.M. –4: 30 p.M.

Our client is seeking a Quality Engineer to support quality and manufacturing operations for both existing and new processes. This direct hire role will ensure manufacturing meets required quality standards, drive root cause analysis, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain quality control systems and perform regular inspections and audits.

  • Analyze defects and lead root cause investigations;implement corrective actions.

  • Support process improvements using lean and continuous improvement tools.

  • Maintain accurate quality documentation (PPAPs, Control Plans, FMEAs, etc.).

  • Train production teams on quality standards and problem-solving techniques.

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other regulatory requirements;assist with audits.

  • Communicate effectively across departments and support other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or related field preferred.

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in Quality and Manufacturing.

  • Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills;experience with lean methods is a plus.
