Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join a manufacturing team in Grand Rapids. This position focuses on inspecting and sorting parts, identifying plating defects, documenting inspection data, and helping ensure parts meet specific requirements.
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Pay: $17–$19/hour
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 5: 30 AM–3: 00 PM
Responsibilities

Perform visual inspections of parts on plating racks

Identify and accurately categorize plating defects

Enter required inspection data into software programs

Communicate plating variations and concerns to plating teams

Operate inspection equipment, including customer gauges, XRF equipment, and other tools

Transport and organize materials, packaging, and carts as needed

Follow established quality and safety procedures

Learn inspection requirements for new parts

High school diploma or equivalent experience

Basic computer skills

Strong attention to detail

Verbal and written communication skills

Organizational skills

Prolonged standing and walking

Repetitive motions

May require lifting and carrying up to 70 lbs.

Manufacturing environment may become hot and humid
