Quality Technician –1st Shift
Location: Walled Lake, MI
Full-Time | Direct Hire
Pay: $19.50–$21.00/hour (based on experience)

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support quality assurance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Schedule
- Production is generally scheduled Monday–Thursday, with Fridays as needed
- 10-hour shifts: 5: 00 AM –3: 00 PM
- 12-hour shifts (based on production needs): 3: 00 AM –3: 00 PM
- Shift schedules vary based on production demands
- Perform quality inspections and acceptance testing on raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products
- Conduct visual inspections and quality testing while ensuring accurate and repeatable results
- Record quality data using SPC (Statistical Process Control) systems
- Communicate inspection results to the manufacturing team
- Generate quality reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Calibrate laboratory equipment following established procedures
- Maintain sample archives and quality records
- Assist with training new Quality Technicians when needed
- Support continuous improvement initiatives while following all safety and housekeeping standards
- 2+ years of quality inspection or manufacturing quality experience preferred
- Experience with computer data entry and quality documentation
- Knowledge of SPC or quality management systems is preferred
- ASQ (American Society for Quality) certification is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adapt in a production-driven environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work throughout both laboratory and manufacturing environments
- Comfortable working in varying plant temperatures
