 Reliability Engineer
Location: Troy, MI

Salary Range: $103, 000 - $137, 000

Role Overview:
The Reliability Engineer ensures military ground vehicles meet reliability and maintainability (R&M) standards. This role focuses on analysis, testing, and optimization of systems to achieve high performance for programs like the Small Multipurpose Mission Equipment Transport (S-MET) and XM30 Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle (OMFV).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop system reliability models, reliability block diagrams, and failure analyses.
  • Conduct R&M evaluations, support DFMEA efforts, and manage reliability-critical item lists.
  • Track test incident reports and support corrective actions.
  • Present technical solutions to stakeholders and gather user feedback.
  • Travel up to 5%, with occasional international travel.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems);Master’s preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years in reliability and maintainability analysis for ground vehicles.
    • Familiarity with U.S. DoD standards, military regulations, and ground vehicle requirements.
    • Experience with Weibull++ and Crow-AMSAA (Growth Model) software.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
    • Hands-on problem-solving and strategic thinking.
    • Proven ability to deliver results from concept to production.

Preferred:
  • Knowledge of Military Standards and prior experience in multinational projects.
  • Familiarity with engineering and supply chain management in regulated industries.

Physical Requirements:
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. Occasionally;stand for long periods.
