Job Description


We are partnered with a leading engineering firm seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong architecture background to join their team. As a technical specialist, this role will also involve some management and marketing responsibilities. You will serve as a senior engineer within the department, responsible for the technical development and delivery of electrical engineering projects, while collaborating closely with architectural professionals to ensure cohesive project outcomes.

Location: Greater Cleveland Ohio (Hybrid position)
Compensation: $110-135K

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Serve as Project Engineer on routine to complex, single-discipline and multi-discipline projects.
  • Lead engineering efforts on projects, coordinating work across disciplines.
  • Interface with clients and vendors to ensure project success.
  • Assist with proposal development, including estimating engineering manhours and construction cost estimates.
  • Perform inter-discipline reviews and ensure comprehensive project documentation.
  • Review project design work and alert the Project Manager of scope changes.
  • Independently perform field measurements and train others as needed.
  • Work with code officials and design professionals on building code interpretations or exceptions.
  • Contribute to the development and promotion of company design and production standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of construction budgets based on project scope and experience.
  • Perform and direct construction support/management tasks on projects.
  • Provide construction observation and direct others on simple projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in electrical engineering through periodicals and continuing education.
  • Proficient in design software and CAD operations.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a specialization in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of consulting or facilities engineering/design experience.
  • PE License required.
