Job Title: Senior Platform Cybersecurity Engineer –C5ISR
Location: Sterling Heights, MI (Onsite –9/80 Schedule)
Position Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $73.80 –$85.71/hour

Position Overview
Contract Professionals, Inc. Is seeking a Senior Platform Cybersecurity Engineer to support cyber architecture, evaluation, testing, and compliance across military ground combat platforms. This role supports C5ISR integration efforts and is responsible for ensuring balanced, compliant, and secure cyber-physical system design across vehicle platforms.

This is a senior-level engineering leadership role operating in coordination with Chief Engineers, Systems Engineering leadership, and cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).

Key Responsibilities
•Lead integration of cyber architecture across vehicle systems
•Develop and manage system-level cyber requirements and interface allocations (SWaP-CRaM considerations)
•Conduct Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments (TARA)
•Lead Cyber Tabletop Exercises (CTTX)
•Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-37 and NIST SP 800-53
•Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs) and POA&Ms
•Manage system-level trade studies balancing space, weight, power, cost, reliability, and performance
•Oversee development and execution of verification and validation plans
•Lead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) efforts for cyber-related issues
•Evaluate emerging Cyber and C5ISR technologies
•Coordinate with platform IPTs for requirements decomposition and compliance
•Develop and review technical milestone artifacts and CDRLs
•Support production, test, and field integration activities

Required Qualifications
•Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical field
•10+ years of relevant engineering experience
•Experience in embedded systems cybersecurity within automotive or military platforms
•Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler and SysML
•Experience performing TARA and cyber risk assessments
•Knowledge of federal cybersecurity compliance standards (NIST 800-37, 800-53)
•Experience developing and managing system-level cyber requirements
•Experience leading technical development teams
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security clearance
•U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications
•Experience supporting military vehicle development and integration
•Experience with cyber warfare (offensive and/or defensive)
•Familiarity with electrical LRUs and embedded electronic systems
•Experience interpreting high-level customer requirements and flowing them to subsystem teams
•Experience in cyber-physical system security
•Strong documentation and technical reporting skills

Additional Requirements
•Ability to travel up to 15% (domestic and limited international)
•Ability to work in shop, plant, lab, and vehicle integration environments
•Ability to pass Anthropometric Size Requirement (ASR) testing

Work Schedule
9/80 schedule available (every other Friday off).
