Job Description


Support current and future vehicles and develop new products and/or improve existing applications for  customers.

Work with a creative group of software engineers in designing, testing and deployment of mobile apps used to input vehicle condition, retrieve data from various databases, display vehicle health/part failure predictions and vehicle software integration.

Your Responsibilities May Also Include:
  • Research emerging technologies to improve existing products.
  • Demonstrate applications in front of live audience.
  • Occasionally travel alongside our customers to deploy our apps.
  • Vehicle software integration

Position Requirements:
  • Education: Must have bachelor' s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years applicable experience with mobile app development (iOS, Android, Windows) including multi-platform development with UWP and Xamarin.
    • Must have experience with platform software integration, vehicle or similar.
    • Must have experience with porting applications from one operating system to another.
    • Must have experience with Python (Python 3, Pip, pylibpcap)
    • Must have experience with Linux (Linux Bash/Terminal (RHEL based), Yum, Vim, SSH, SFTP)
    • Must have experience with MySQL, Putty, Wireshark, Oracle DB, GCC, InfluxDB, OpenSSL, Postgresql, Dashboards, Analytics
    • Must have knowledge of CAN and Ethernet data transmission.
    • Familiar with Windows and Linux/UNIX operating systems/development environments
    • Familiar with object-oriented programming languages (C#, Java, C++, etc.) and web development (HTML, CSS, XSLT, JavaScript)
    • Familiar with database and/or data warehouse design
    • Familiar with Data Science, Advanced Data Analytics and AL/ML.
    • Competent with MS Office applications
  • Additional Skills:
    • Must adhere to strict project schedules and meet extremely high-quality standards.
    • Requires excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills.
    • Requires strong analytical and creative skills to comfortably solve complex problems.
    • Requires a strong propensity to record and document processes, software, and source code.
    • Occasional short-term travel
    • Ability to work both on-site and remotely.
    • Overtime may be required to meet demands of our customer.
