CPI is hiring a Software Engineer on a contract-to-possible hire basis for our large defense industry client in Dayton, Ohio. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Education Requirement:
Bachelor' s degree in software engineering or a related technical field is required (or equivalent experience), plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master' s degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.  All education requirements are verified.  Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.  Must be eligible to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
 
In this role you will:
  • Develop embedded software for a Tactical Cross Domain Solution (TACDS)
  • Develop pluggable Filter components for multiple message formats (VMF, XML, KLV-FMV, Binary, etc.)
  • Develop User Programmable Rule Sets.
  • Implementation of Secure Boot and Trusted Platform Modules
  • Develop Drivers and Plug-ins for a Linux kernel application
  • Develop FPGA Programmable Logic
  • Provide Engineering Support to Field Application Engineers supporting customer integration activities
  • Experience using GIT Lab and Bugzilla
