CPI is hiring a Software Engineer on a contract basis for our Aerospace & Defense client in Marietta, GA. This assignment is a US Government Contract which requires all applicants to be US Citizens.

Responsibilities:
  • Thy successful applicant will be responsible for embedded software definition, design, development and integration to support real-time embedded avionics software projects.
  • Will be responsible for algorithm design, coding, testing and integrating software.
  • Develop, analyze, integrate, and test embedded software for the Systems Integration team.
  • Contribute to software requirements, design, code, reviews, and test of operational flight programs.
  • Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
  • Good oral and written communication skills required as is the ability to flex and adapt in a fast-paced team environment. Good presentation skills.

Background & Experience Required:
  • A Bachelor' s in technical discipline such as computational media or computer science or software engineering.
  • Strong C++ & object-oriented programming/design skills.

Skills Desired:
  • Experienced Microsoft Visual Studio IDE user.
  • Experience with real-time systems and multi-threading.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD a security clearance.
