Software Engineering Lead
Job Description
Job Summary:
Lead a software team in designing, developing, and integrating complex military vehicle systems. Responsible for software architecture, team building, process development, system integration, and ensuring compliance with U.S. Department of Defense standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead software development team using DevSecOps and Agile practices.
- Oversee software design, testing, and integration for military vehicle systems.
- Collaborate on system architecture, cybersecurity, and software safety.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and proposals.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
- Interface with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- Education: MSc in Engineering or related field (PhD preferred).
- Experience: 15+ years in complex defense programs and software engineering.
- Proficiency in C5ISR systems, Linux, Real-Time OS, and embedded programming.
- Familiarity with defense standards (e.G., VICTORY, FACE, NGVA).
- Ability to obtain SECRET clearance;German language skills a plus.
Pay Range: $99, 000–$155, 000 annually
