  Connected Vehicle Platform and Product Team is looking for iOS/ANDROID MOBILE APP SOFTWARE ENGINEERS that embrace Lean/Agile and Extreme Programming practices. In this environment, the Software Engineer is expected to work in a pair developing working, tested code across the full stack of technologies. They will collaborate directly and continuously with product managers and designers, and business partners to release early and often. Responsibilities: Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support) Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance Liaise with Product development team to plan new features Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols Stay up-to-date with new technology trends Developing hardware integrations in Android/iOS with in-vehicle technologies/modules
Skills Preferred:
- Proven experience in the full mobile application design, development, and deployment lifecycle, including debugging - Understanding of design principles for iOS - Understanding of testing considerations for mobile applications - Familiarity with connecting to RESTful back-end services - Passion for working on the latest technologies - Highly effective in working with other technical experts, Product Managers, UI/UX Designers and business stakeholders - Possess an innovation mindset - Experience with manual/automated testing, and an interest in test driven development (TDD) or willingness to learn - Strong communication skills and interest in a pair-programming environment
Experience Required:
2+ years of android or iOS application development experience
Education Required:
Bachelor' s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Education Preferred:
Master' s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Matt Dahlgren
Account Executive

Matt started with Contract Professionals, Inc. in November 2014. He began as a Technical Recruiter assigned to the automotive team. He worked hand in hand with account managers, to spearhead specific projects with CPI's clients. Driven to succeed, Matt achieved his goal(s) within the first year. He continued working on accounts and he learned the leadership process throughout his 4-year career at CPI.

When the opportunity presented itself, he was promoted to Account Manager of the automotive division. He navigates the challenges in this new role by utilizing the senior staff in the office.

Matt was awarded a Bachelor of Art in Environmental Studies at University of Michigan. Matt also received an Associate degree in Automotive Mechanics from a local community college.

Matt is thriving as a new Account Manager at CPI, and he looks forward to the challenges that await him in the workforce solutions industry.
