Applicant will design and develop data storage systems, processes and enhancements for the company' s complex high traffic, business critical internet site communications and/or network-based (cloud) product systems. Leading a team of experienced professionals, you' ll design enterprise storage environments, including enterprise storage arrays, fiber channel switches and Network Attached Storage (NAS) physical and virtual tape devices, as well as develop solutions and processes for reliable and stable data storage management, security, backup, restoration, archiving and replication. Candidate will also assist with the implementation of new or additional storage technology to improve infrastructure service locally and remotely. NOTE: This position can be supported remotely via telecommute.

Representative Duties and Tasks:
- May design and develop data storage systems, processes and enhancements for company' s complex high traffic, business critical internet site communications and/or network-based (cloud) product systems
- May lead the design of enterprise storage environments, including enterprise storage arrays, fiber channel switches, and Network Attached Storage (NAS).
- May develop solutions and processes for reliable and stable data storage management, security, backup, restoration, archiving and replication
- Assists with the implementation of new or additional storage technology to improve infrastructure service locally and remotely
- Responsible for advanced configuration, administration and support of data backup and restoration and/or storage services
- May perform advanced backup and/or storage related administration of physical and virtualized servers
- Makes recommendations for hardware and software purchases
- Participates in the development of organization' s goals and objectives
- Conducts systems analysis and development to keep systems current with changing technologies
- May assist in the creation and maintenance of backup and/or storage related standards, policies, and procedures
- Monitors status and performance of backup and/or storage systems; may configure monitoring systems
- Works independently, within standard processes, to repair defects, perform upgrades and preventative maintenance across the enterprise
- Responds promptly to day-to-day client problems, requests, or inquiries
- May lead the creation and maintenance of system documentation
- Runs scripts and tools to automate repetitive processes and provides inputs for improvements
- May lead the creation and maintenance of Disaster Recovery Plans
- Executes plans, designs, and implements necessary configurations to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
- Interacts with external technology vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
- May develop test plans for new or upgraded technology implementations
- Independently identifies tasks or projects that need to be done and effectively prioritizes time to complete multiple assignments
- May lead process improvement efforts
- Recommends tools for use within the storage and/or backup environment
- May provide guidance to non-exempt personnel
- A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways

Knowledge Skills And Abilities:
- Broad application of storage and/or backup principles, theories, and concepts
- Solid understanding of server operating systems and basic network principles

Preferred Experience:
- Hands-on administration experience with NetApp storage systems is highly desired
- Experience with Rubrik is highly desired
- Experience with automation and scripting methods is highly desired (such as PowerShell, Ansible)
- Experience with public cloud technologies such as Azure is preferred
Education Required:
Bachelor' s degree in computer science or related field; or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master' s degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
