Position Overview
Seeking a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer to support development of next-generation torpedo guidance and undersea defense systems for the U.S. Navy. This role supports system architecture, requirements development, integration, and performance analysis for ruggedized electronics within complex defense programs.
Key Responsibilities

Lead systems engineering activities across the full development lifecycle

Perform requirements analysis, functional analysis, and performance evaluation

Develop and manage system architecture and integration activities

Drive requirements flow-down and traceability
-
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams

Utilize systems modeling and requirements management tools

Support failure investigations and system validation
-
Present technical strategies and system plans to stakeholders
Required Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field
-
8+ years of relevant experience, OR
-
Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience
Preferred Skills

Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
-
SysML/UML tools (MagicDraw/Cameo)
-
Requirements management tools (DOORS)
-
MATLAB, Jira, and Agile methodologies
-
Experience supporting complex defense or undersea systems programs
Clearance Requirement

DoD Secret clearance preferred at time of hire

Must be eligible for a U.S. Government security clearance

U.S. Citizenship required
