Pay Rate: $29-$33/hourly
100% Onsite | Advanced Defense Electronics Programs
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced electronics technician to support advanced defense technologies and prototype electronic systems in a hands-on engineering environment. In this role, you’ll work alongside engineering, production, and quality teams supporting the testing, troubleshooting, repair, and validation of sophisticated electronic assemblies and systems.

The position offers exposure to highly advanced technologies supporting critical national defense programs while providing opportunities for continued technical growth and development.
Responsibilities
  • Perform component-level troubleshooting on:
    • Analog electronics
    • Digital electronics
    • Mixed-signal systems
    • Power electronics assemblies
  • Analyze:
    • Circuit schematics
    • Wiring diagrams
    • Technical documentation
  • Use advanced diagnostic and test equipment including:
    • Oscilloscopes
    • Spectrum analyzers
    • Logic analyzers
    • Signal generators
    • Multimeters
  • Diagnose and repair failed or out-of-spec components including:
    • Resistors
    • Capacitors
    • Diodes
    • Transistors
    • Integrated circuits
    • Power devices
  • Conduct functional and environmental testing to validate repairs
  • Document:
    • Failure modes
    • Root causes
    • Corrective actions
  • Support engineering, production, and quality teams with troubleshooting and technical analysis
  • Assist with development of:
    • Troubleshooting procedures
    • Test plans
    • Repair documentation
  • Support fabrication and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems and specialized test equipment
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant electronics troubleshooting experience
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair electronic assemblies at the component level
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Analog circuits
    • Digital circuits
    • Power electronics
    • Communication interfaces
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and documentation
  • Experience using electronic test and laboratory equipment
  • Basic hardware fabrication capability
Preferred Experience
  • Solder repair certification
  • FCC licensing experience
  • Experience in prototype or engineering lab environments
  • Military or defense electronics experience
  • Experience troubleshooting mixed-signal and power electronics systems
Additional Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Comfortable supporting fast-paced engineering and production environments
  • Position is 100% onsite
