Location: Troy, MI
Salary Range: $130, 000 - $145, 000
Role Overview:
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will provide manufacturing expertise, develop MBOMs, recommend tooling, and oversee production processes. This position works closely with internal and external teams to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and manage production processes, workflows, and assembly methods.
- Develop MBOMs, work instructions, and ensure accurate MRP planning.
- Collaborate with engineering on design changes to improve manufacturability.
- Provide tooling and equipment recommendations.
- Conduct producibility studies and act as a liaison between engineering and manufacturing.
- Support on-site and off-site production and major organizational projects.
- Document procedures and resolve production issues.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years in manufacturing, including defense contracts and MRP planning.
- Knowledge of PLM systems, design standards, and CAD software.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Digital Twin and Digital Engineering strategies.
- Ability to travel up to 25% and work overtime as needed.
