  • Analysis of MRP recommendations (signals), to include:
    • Investigate and resolve identified planning issues by working with plant personnel, SCM BOM group, etc, as required.
    • Analysis of planning across Organizations and transferring material between physical locations.
    • Releasing of planned orders.
    • Issue blanket releases against established blanket purchase agreements.
    • Determine full horizon of requirements and communicate to Buyer(s) for purchase order placement.
    • Perform project transfers to align inventory to requirements as needed.
  • Expediting activities, to include:
    • Review /validate reschedule-in exception messages;
      • Update the need-by date on PO shipments as required.
    • Work with supplier to mitigate potential shortages.
    • Update shortage report comments as required.
    • Support shortage meetings as required.
    • Escalate as required to mitigate shortage.
    • Coordinate expedited freight and obtain appropriate approvals.
  • Exception message management and PO Maintenance, to include:
    • Review / validate reschedule-out exception messages;
      • Update the need-by date on purchase order (PO) shipments as required;
      • Work with supplier to mitigate potential excess condition.
    • Review /validate cancellation exception messages;
      • Initiate Notice of Termination (NOT) and submit to buyer for cancellations;
      • Cancel requisitions not needed.
    • Review and accept/reject supplier PO change requests (e.G. Promised date updates).
    • Review/manage early receipt notifications.
    • Coordinate RMA requests with the supplier for repair orders and return to suppliers (RTS).
    • Update/maintain need-by date on POs for repair orders and RTS receipts.
Bachelors Degree in Business, Manufacturing or Supply Chain Management preferred with a minimum of  6-9 years of applicable experience in one or more of the following areas;  Fewer years will be considered with an advanced degree.

- MRP planning knowledge (discrete and inventory based) and analysis experience highly desirable
- Oracle MRP Planning & ERP knowledge and experience highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Solid communication skills (oral and written)
- Self directed
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Attention to detail and follow-up
- Ability to work under pressure (i.E. Compressed deadlines)
- Strong time management Skills
- Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Travel required
- US Citizenship
