Job Description: Structures Systems Manager
Position Summary:
The Structures Systems Manager leads the design and development of combat vehicle chassis structures, managing a team of engineers and designers. This role oversees the creation, analysis, and testing of vehicle hull structures and related subsystems, ensuring performance and survivability standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop chassis structures from system requirements.
- Oversee structural analysis, survivability assessments, and performance testing.
- Manage the design of ramps, hatches, and access panels.
- Lead a multidisciplinary Integrated Product Team (IPT).
- Communicate progress to management and customers.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration across teams and vendors.
Qualifications:

Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 15+ years of experience in vehicle chassis or similar systems design.
- Proficiency in CAD design systems and structural analysis.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security clearance.

Preferred:
- Experience with tracked combat vehicle structures and survivability.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
Salary Range:
$150, 000 - $170, 000

Working Conditions:
- Mostly desk-based, with occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs).
- Up to 15% travel.
