Job Description

Position Description:
• Manage process operations allocated to Pre-Delivery. • Provide real time quality concern feedback to base departments. • Champion Operator Instruction Sheets (OIS) & Work Element Sheets (WES). • Manage implementation of a Best-In-Class Quality Operating System. • Provide representation for Daily PQR and Product Reviews. • Support required internal audits and management reviews associated with QOS assessments and QPIP assessments. • Mediate conflicts between production and engineering over responsibility for customer or production build concerns and guide them toward the customer required solutions. • Coordinate concerns found in our QOS and Plant FCPA audits • Provide feedback, to appropriate departments, concerns identified by inspectors and surveillances. • Report supplier quality significant events to the Q.C. Manager. • Maintain a system to evaluate and file each individual' s contributions for continuous improvement in areas of quality, cost and work environment. • Attend required FPS Meetings. • Coordinate and support required training for Pre-Delivery. • Keep the Plant Manager and the Operating Committee informed of our quality status.
Skills Preferred:
o Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing o Ability to work effectively as part of a team o Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to resolve diverse problems o Need to work well under pressure and to be able to work under crisis management when necessary o Having the ability to work and multi-task in fast pace environment
Experience Required:
o Previous production experience
o Union negotiations experience
Education Required:
High School diploma
Education Preferred:
Bachelor' s Degree
