Position Description:
" Enforce compliance with Safety Operating System practices to include, but not limited to: Combustion Safety; Energy Lockout; Pedestrian and Vehicle Safety; Working at Heights; Pre-Task Analysis (PTA); and licensing and safety training requirements " Perform safety inspections using corporate tools (OHSIM, Client, SPRB) and conduct safety talks " Identify and insure that safety hazards and unsafe practices are promptly corrected " Complete 100% of mandated FAS08 PMs at the prescribed frequency " Communication and Recognition " Drive Continuous Improvement through a focused maintenance program designed to reduce scrap and ensure reliability of error-proofing devices " Maintain automation in a state of compliance with specifications, fit, form, and contamination standards " Lead skilled trades/maintenance personnel to evaluate controls requirements for maintaining and improving production yields, throughput, and up time " Responsible for monitoring day-to-day production processes, tooling, and operations related to automation equipment " Analyze equipment performance and work to improve efficiencies; actively participate in Constraint Review Process " Ensure equipment start-up readiness for production " Work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends " Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Skills Preferred:
Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls Capable of assigning work to unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments in terms safety, quality, and throughput Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills Assembly experience Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles Knowledge of constraint management principles

Experience Required:
" 3+ years technical work experience and troubleshooting in a Manufacturing environment " 1+ years Microsoft Office experience to include Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Experience Preferred:
5+ years technical work experience and troubleshooting in an automotive Manufacturing environment Safety and Quality experience Prior experience managing a unionized work force

Education Required:
High School diploma/GED

Education Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Additional Information:
Selected candidates will be assigned to one of three crews: A-crew: Mon-Thur, 6am-4: 30pm B-crew: Tues-Fri, 6pm-4: 30am C-Crew: Fri-Sat 6am-4: 30pm, Sun-Mon 6pm-4: 30am
