Position Duties " Coach Safety, Quality and Productivity to ensure objectives are met through following standardized work " Optimize throughput in accordance with budgets and cost objectives " Monitor ANDON occurrences. Be the first responder as secondary support " Through Process Confirmation, verify that the line is running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts " Support Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) and coach problem resolution to the lowest level " Communication and Recognition " Meet FTT, inventory, cost, scrap, supply, and tooling expense targets " Build Team Leader and Team Member capability " Create a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasks " Basic administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents
oAbility to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends oAbility to work independently with limited supervision oCapable of assigning work to unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments in terms safety, quality, and throughput oStrong organizational and administrative skills oAbility to multi-task oStrong problem-solving and conflict management skills
oBody shop/stamping/paint/subassembly experience preferred oSafety and Quality experience preferred oKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles oKnowledge of constraint management principles oMicrosoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook) oPrior experience managing a unionized work force oOne year supervisor experience or six months intern experience

Jennifer’s focus at Contract Professionals, Inc. is working in the defense industry to help candidates find employment with CPI’s international defense suppliers.
Jennifer works to assist military veterans, as they seek out new job opportunities, while transitioning from the military to civilian life. More specifically, Jennifer's goal is to match the military veterans she represents with civilian employment opportunities. Her aim is to provide the military veterans with jobs where they can utilize the skills and experience they've gained in the military.
Jennifer is proud to be a part of the CPI team. She says that it’s easy to stay motivated because she comes to work each day, excited to work with transitioning military personnel and veterans from across the United States.
Jennifer was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Baker College in Michigan.
She enjoys working out, cooking, and spending time at her cottage in the northern part of the lower peninsula of Michigan.
