System Architect Engineer

Job Description
Applicant will be responsible for the following key functions as part of the development of the System Architecture of a Ground Combat Vehicle:
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Deciding what computing resources are needed.
- Designing the video architecture.
- Designing network architecture.
- Designing the time synchronization strategy.
- Designing for redundancy and failover.
- Influence the needs for the power architecture.
- Define key component interfaces (CI) and maintain the data source.
- Provide Cross functional support to other Integrated Product Teams and departments.
Position Requirements:
- Strong skills in the development of a System Architecture that is compliant to the System Requirements and System Design Definition.
- Work experience in the Defense Industry, preferably in Land Systems, and working with the US government as a customer.
- Capital Enterprise Experience (or similar software tool) required.
- Ability to develop a system model and system architecture using SysML preferred.
- Must be able to understand System level Requirements.
- Highly motivated performer.
- Works well in team and individually.
- Must be able to work occasional evening and/or weekend overtime as required.
- Prefer experience with developing system requirements, system specifications, requirement traceability, requirements compliance.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills is required.
- Able to work in office, shop, test lab, test site environments and in vehicles.
- Candidate must be able to obtain a US security clearance. An active US Security Clearance prior to hire is highly desired.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor' s Degree in an Engineering Discipline required; electrical engineering preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of applicable experience; fewer years required with an advanced degree.

Crisi holds BA in Business Administration from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.
