Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Define and ensure traceability of system and subsystem requirements, as well as software requirements.
  • Perform functional analysis to develop execution plans and concepts.
  • Design and develop system and subsystem architecture, interfaces, and design considerations.
  • Decompose system and subsystem performance and verification requirements, creating design verification plans and reports.
  • Identify, define, and manage power, data, and other system interfaces.
  • Maintain the interfaces between systems, subsystems, and components.
  • Support power and network bandwidth allocations for vehicle functions.
  • Ensure alignment of system design across physical, power, data, and software domains.
  • Integrate and verify system and subsystem components in both laboratory and vehicle environments.
  • Execute system and subsystem integration, test, and verification plans.
  • Provide technical input for project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation.
  • Achieve proficiency in one or more domains, such as Power, Fire Control, Diagnostics, Information Assurance, C4, Software User Interface design, etc.
Ideal Candidate Credentials:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline required;electrical engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of applicable experience.
  • Strong skills in system/subsystem/software requirements development, design, and testing.
  • Experience with data bus design and management, including knowledge of associated data collecting tools (CAN, Ethernet, 1553, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Requirements Manager software (TEAMCENTER) and/or DOORs.
  • Troubleshooting skills for system/subsystem issues.
  • Knowledge of military vehicles is a plus.
  • Ability to write test procedures and reports.
  • Highly motivated and able to excel both in a team and independently.
  • Flexibility for occasional evening and weekend overtime.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Comfortable working in office, shop, test lab, test site environments, and within vehicles.
  • Eligibility for potential US security clearance.
