System Integration Lab (HIL/SIL) Engineer
Job Description
The HIL/SIL Engineer will establish and manage test and integration capabilities within our labs and support software verification activities, ensuring seamless hardware and software integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integration labs, including test setups, equipment, and wiring.
- Plan and execute software verification tasks, including automated and manual tests.
- Identify and resolve software issues, ensuring complete test coverage.
- Manage software verification schedules, costs, and quality.
- Prepare test plans, procedures, and reports in compliance with DoD standards.
- Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Systems, Software, Aerospace, or Automotive). Master’s preferred.
- Experience:
- 10+ years in software verification, HIL/SIL, or technology integration.
- Familiarity with vehicle electrical interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, RS232/422/485, USB, etc.).
- Experience writing test scripts (C, C++, Python) and using tools like NI or dSPACE.
- Knowledge of DoD requirements and military standards.
- Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance.
- Skills: Strong technical troubleshooting, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Physical testing and HIL/SIL experience.
- Jira, Confluence, or Integration Lab Scheduler expertise.
- German language skills.
- Salary: $122, 000–$160, 000.
