Systems Engineer –Conventional Prompt Strike
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site
Pay Range: $48.15/hour
About the Role
Join our client’s engineering team supporting the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) program, where you’ll help deliver next-generation hardware, software, and systems solutions for national defense. As a Systems Engineer, you will contribute to complex integration, validation, and design efforts that directly impact mission readiness and system performance.
Key Responsibilities
·Perform system validation, verification, and performance testing for hardware and software
·Document, analyze, and manage system requirements using established tools and processes
·Contribute to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts, including modeling, simulations, and design analysis
·Support hardware design, integration, and troubleshooting activities
·Collaborate within a cross-functional engineering team to ensure successful program delivery
·Maintain compliance with systems engineering and quality standards
Required Qualifications
·Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field
·2+ years of related experience (or Master’s degree)
·U.S. Citizenship required
·Active Department of Defense Secret clearance required at time of hire
·Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and requirements management
·Familiarity with MBSE tools and system modeling practices
·Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
·Agile development experience
·Experience with system simulations, integration testing, or model-based design
·Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
·Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
