Systems Engineer –Regional Strike Programs
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Pay: Up to $58.37/hour
Clearance: Active Secret Required | U.S. Citizenship Required
Work Type: Onsite (Hybrid Flexibility)
Overview:
Seeking a Systems Engineer to support Regional Strike Programs, working across hardware, software, and integrated systems. This role spans test & integration, requirements engineering, MBSE, and system design in a mission-critical defense environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform system integration, verification, and validation (V&V)
- Develop and manage system requirements and documentation
- Support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and simulations
- Assist in hardware/system design, integration, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate across cross-functional engineering teams
- Apply systems engineering principles and technical standards
- Leverage AI tools for requirements analysis, test documentation, and trade studies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field
- 5+ years of systems engineering experience (or Master’s + 3 years)
- Experience with requirements management and system modeling tools
- Understanding of systems engineering lifecycle and processes
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
Preferred:
- Experience with MBSE tools (SysML, Cameo, etc.)
- Background in defense or complex system programs
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Familiarity with AI-enabled engineering workflows
