Job Description
Applicant must have TOP SECRET Security clearance prior to hire to be considered for this position.
Qualifications:
- Must have an Engineering degree or experience.
- Must have Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) writing experience.
- Must have Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programming, operating, and maintenance technician experience.
- Must have 30 design writing and printing experience.
Duties:
- Serves as a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine programmer, operator and maintenance technician for
- proper function and annual updating of equipment.
- Provides Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) writing, 30 design writing and printing, and industrial design capabilities.
- Serves as quality control manager on new items created and requisitions new materials and components for use
- in prototype development.
- Participates in the development of other experimental equipment such as: parachutes, accessory systems, AADs, etc.
- equipment bundle systems and advanced aerial delivery release/rigging systems.
- Participates in basic concept and feasibility studies with Aerial Delivery Engineer Support Team (ADEST), PM-SOF Office, Natick Labs, DARPA, and other agencies internal/external to DoD in the design, development and testing of new or modified aerial delivery systems.
- Assists in the development of new equipment and modifications to existing equipment.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor of Science plus 6 years' experience OR Master of Science plus 4 years' experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Applicant must have an active Top Secret Security clearance prior to hire to be considered for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a US Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, US citizenship is required.
