Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a self-motivated TeamCenter Support Administrator to join their dynamic team at their Troy, MI location. The role involves designing, developing, and integrating components within the TeamCenter PLM environment. The ideal candidate will support TeamCenter user needs, implement new deployments, and drive process improvement initiatives. This position requires balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting and applying expertise in CAD processes, prototype manufacturing, and production techniques.

Essential Functions:
  • Configure, implement, and administer TeamCenter applications, including Active Workspace.
  • Deploy data model changes using BMIDE tools and implement extensions for enhanced functionality.
  • Configure items, datasets, naming rules, and lists of values within BMIDE.
  • Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to enhance TeamCenter PLM features.
  • Manage Multi-CAD and Non-CAD object integration within the PLM system.
  • Support ERP system integration and maintain TeamCenter workflows.
  • Author and maintain operating procedures, standards, and best practice guides.
  • Monitor application and SQL database performance, optimizing solutions in collaboration with the database team.
  • Ensure compliance with infrastructure architecture standards and security protocols.

Supervisory Responsibility:
  • None.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of systems-based design and related standards/processes.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) ground vehicle requirements and processes.
  • Knowledge of military standards and regulations.
  • Effective communication and technical presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with international colleagues and cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (batch, VB, SQL, Powershell) and database optimization is a plus.
  • German language skills are desired but not required.
  • Eligibility for a U.S. SECRET Defense clearance.

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:
  • 8+ years in PLM platform development, support, and maintenance (e.G., Siemens TeamCenter).
  • Experience with large-scale PLM deployments in a global, multi-national environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with diverse teams.

Background Prerequisites:
  • Must pass company standards for background checks, employment verification, references, and substance testing.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
