Test Engineer

Up to $44.00/hour
Position Overview
Seeking a Test Engineer to support integration, verification, and validation of embedded tactical communications systems. This role works within a cross-functional engineering team to test and validate mission-critical hardware and software solutions using the Unified Testing Framework (UTF).
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute system test plans, procedures, and diagnostics

Perform functional, environmental, operational, and performance testing

Support integration of hardware, firmware, and software systems
-
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python (3.9+)

Design test fixtures, equipment, and troubleshooting methods
-
Implement verification and validation (V&V) methodologies

Support Agile development and system integration activities

Document test procedures, results, and reports
Required Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field
-
2+ years of relevant experience, OR
-
Master’s degree with 6 months of relevant experience
Key Skills
-
Experience with test engineering concepts and methodologies
-
Object-oriented programming and scripting experience
-
Experience with signal analyzers, signal generators, or USRP test equipment

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
-
Ability to work in collaborative engineering environments
