Thread Rolling Operator
Location: Plymouth, MI
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Shift: 1st or 2nd- split shift
Pay Rate: $24 –$32/hour (Based on experience)
Benefits: Full benefits start day one
Our client, a well-established manufacturer in Plymouth, MI, is seeking a Thread Rolling Operator to join their 1st-2nd split shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining INGRAMATIC (SACMA) thread rolling machines to produce high-quality fasteners with precision and efficiency.
This is a direct hire position offering competitive pay and full benefits starting on day one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot INGRAMATIC thread rolling machines
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement tools
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain part quality
- Complete production documentation and scrap reporting accurately
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies
- Collaborate with other team members and shift leads to ensure smooth production flow
- Follow standard work procedures and comply with all safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- Experience operating thread rolling or similar metal forming machinery
- Familiarity with INGRAMATIC or SACMA equipment preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to work 1st or 2nd shift and occasional weekends
- ERP experience (SAP preferred) is a plus
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
