Are you an engineer who thrives at the intersection of design and manufacturing? We’re looking for a Tooling Engineer to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of stamping dies and injection molding processes used in the production of high-quality, precision-engineered components.

First Shift;Direct Hire;$90-100K (always negotiable based on experience)
Locaiton: Greater Cleveland, Ohio
What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Plastics, or Chemical Engineering—or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3+ years working directly with tooling for stamping and/or molding.

  • Solid understanding of tooling design, process troubleshooting, and manufacturing floor support.

  • Proficiency in MS Office;SolidWorks experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to mentor others effectively.
What You’ll Do:

  • Design and develop tooling for metal stamping and plastic injection molding.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to bring new contact designs and molded components from concept to production.

  • Transition tools from prototype to full-scale production with minimal disruption.

  • Develop and maintain a tooling database, preventive maintenance schedules, and process documentation.

  • Troubleshoot and optimize tooling performance on the floor—including machine setup parameters.

  • Design and implement assembly fixtures to support production.

  • Provide training to production personnel and serve as the subject matter expert on stamping and molding processes.

  • Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
