Are you an experienced military vehicle mechanic with Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) experience? We’re seeking a skilled ACV Mechanic to support vehicle testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and fielding operations. In this role, you’ll work closely with Field Service Representatives to keep mission-critical vehicles operational and ready for deployment.

This is a hands-on position supporting advanced military vehicle systems and ensuring minimal disruption to operational testing and field operations.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform inspection, maintenance, and repair on Amphibious Combat Vehicles (ACV)

  • Support Field Service Representatives (FSR) during testing, troubleshooting, and fielding operations

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and drivetrain systems

  • Identify and replace defective components and repair parts

  • Interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and schematics

  • Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, depth gauges, and finish gauges

  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, lifting equipment, and shop machinery

Required Experience

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Civil Engineer / Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to support land development and infrastructure projects from planning and design through permitting and construction. This is a hands-on, onsite role working closely with project managers, engineers, and consultants using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare civil engineering drawings, plans, and specifications for site development, roadways, drainage, and utilities

  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop detailed designs, layouts, and models

  • Collect and analyze survey data, zoning requirements, utility information, and jurisdictional codes

  • Assist with engineering calculations, technical reports, and permitting documentation

  • Review plans and specifications to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance

  • Maintain organized project files, drawings, and revision records

  • Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and regulatory agencies to support approvals

  • Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and occasional site visits

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required (PE is a plus)

  • 3+ years of civil engineering experience, preferably in land development or infrastructure

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D

  • Strong understanding of grading, drainage, and utility design

  • Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving and organizational skills

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively onsite

The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise with diesel engines, powertrains, hydraulics, and electrical systems and can diagnose complex mechanical issues in heavy vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and powertrain systems on military tracked vehicles.
  • Perform inspections, upgrades, modifications, and maintenance on AMPV fleets.
  • Use diagnostic tools, software, schematics, and technical manuals to identify and correct faults.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to soldiers, field service teams, and maintenance personnel.
  • Travel to military bases and depots to perform field repairs and support missions.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and lifting devices.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or Military Vehicle Technician or ASE Certified Mechanic. 
  • Strong background in diesel engine troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic, electrical, and air-conditioning systems.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
  • U.S. Citizenship required (due to government contract).
  • Must be able and willing to travel on short notice.
Preferred Experience:
  • Prior military vehicle maintenance (Bradley, Abrams, AMPV, or similar tracked vehicles).
  • Knowledge of U.S. Army maintenance systems or dealer management systems.
  • Experience training or mentoring mechanics or soldiers.

The FST will conduct Operational testing, troubleshooting, and repairs. Technical data collection and reporting is required in all aspects of logging work performed. The main effort of the work assignment will be performed in one location in Europe, ie Croatia. Other efforts could be required, and candidate must understand that notification could be short notice. Working environment has minimal office work requirements and extensive travel. Field like conditions (domestic and foreign) and test conditions (inside/external), along with working in a production environment weather could be harsh at time due to environmental changes. Will be working with a team comprised of both US personnel as well as host nation nationals. This position is rewarding and could propose long term employment opportunities


Preferred skills require knowledge of military maintenance systems (all levels of repair) on M2 A2ODS Bradley fighting Vehicles. Knowledge of appropriate technical manuals and engineering drawings and schematics. About the Role
Join an elite support team providing field maintenance and technical expertise for the U.S. Army’s Cold Weather All-Terrain Vehicle (CATV) fleet —the next-generation replacement for the Small Unit Support Vehicle (SUSV). As a Field Service Technician (FST), you’ll deliver hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades to ensure CATV vehicles perform in the harshest cold-weather conditions across Alaska.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on CATV systems, including drivetrain, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems.

  • Conduct warranty repairs, retrofits, upgrades, and modifications as required by program needs.

  • Provide field and garrison technical support to U.S. Army, Army National Guard, and Reserve units.

  • Accurately document maintenance actions and communicate findings through reports and Microsoft Office tools.

  • Support and mentor operators through on-the-job learning and hands-on demonstrations.

  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and government contract requirements.

  • Operate effectively in extreme cold-weather field environments for extended periods.
Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • U.S. Citizenship (required for government contract compliance).

  • Military Mechanic Training (Heavy Track, Wheeled, or Engineer Equipment MOS –E-4 or higher) OR Civilian Automotive/Heavy Truck certification with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience.

  • Proven ability to perform complex maintenance and troubleshooting across vehicle subsystems.

  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostic skills.

  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation.

  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and self-supervision skills.

  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid U.S. Passport and qualify for a U.S. Government-issued Common Access Card (CAC).
Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting military vehicle programs in field environments.

  • Familiarity with Army logistics systems and maintenance protocols.

  • Demonstrated adaptability to remote or extreme weather operations.
